Sql Backup Doesn't Work

Hi Dear Team,

I have a problem with backup sql database. When i try to create backup in epesi, function works properly but unable to create backup data into the backup folder or anywhere. And program doesn't give any error about this job, so what may cause to this problem.

Hi,
There are known issues regarding this module in rc2.... User interface doesn't pass properly all available options to the user and because of it, it doesn't create any file. It's fixed in upcoming rc3.

At the time, i have been using Rc3. I quess backup functions only takes the backup of modules not the sql dump. Is there any way to backup sql data (scheduled or manually) except any other sql programs?

Hello,

Backup module is designed to create and store sql dump of module data only. The tables data is stored in files in backup/ folder and option 'Restore' brings back that data (preserving the backup file itself).
So to answer your question once again: it doesn't do what you guessed, it does what you wished for. 🙂

I would say who knows if it does or not, but i think noone can know except you and epesi team.
If one day my questions end, would you think to give me a certificate for being an advanced user of epesi? 😛
