Hi All,
I have a new feature request from you. I recognized an important detail when i check the properties of tasks module. This module has a great function for assign the tasks (orders) to employees which are ordered from their managers. It is a really good and benefit modul but something may be overlooked.
Lets i try to show you with an example scenario below;
Me: I am an employee manager (but really busy man) and i want to give a job to my employee. I decided to job details and i sent to my employee whos name is Charles. I do that via using Task panel> Create New Task> Description Below> and I assign it to my employee Charles.
Job is like that "Control Last 5 Years Customers Record and Put it in to my office table in 1 hour. And I click the "Submit" button.
Then,
Charles: He has saw the task (order) and looked at the details and he was shocked. He must have to check last 5 years records and give them in one hour. He might do that but he probably be bussy and he won't complete this job in one hour. At this time he noticed something over the menu bar in epesi "Edit Record" and appeared a smile in Charles face. Practically he clicked the Edit Task details and change the number "5" to "1". And he planned to give last 1 year record to me (boss).
That is the problem he should not have the permission for edit this records details except status ( informing task is doing or not ).
He can not delete the record true but he can change all the details and much more he can assign this task anyone...
I guess that you will say me we have been insert a property in epesi named subscribe and also admins can view the records history so Charles can not lie to his boss. But why do I have to click a lot of way to check it. I can do that but one day 200 order will send by me to the employees and i could not check all of them. You can say that this module only help for organise the personal task records ok it should be. If it is, why do i have the abililty of assign the employees to the tasks. Task is not a informing function it is main property manage the orders in company and it should be (according to me).
Finally what is my feature request? I want to repeat that tasks module is great but you can insert a permission restriction to it.
Example: Employees should not change the details of tasks ordered by their managers ( or high level accounts ). Only they can change the status of tasks for easily followed by the manager.
