Session expired during installation

Hi everybody!
I'm trying to install the last rc5, but after the database selection form (MySQL in my case), i keep getting the «Session expired, restarting epesi» message.

This happens with both epesi-1.0.0rc5.ei and epesi-1.0.0rc5 packages.

I'm using php 5.2.6 and mysql 5.1.30. Any suggestion? Thank you in advance.

Hi,
can you give us you virtual host settings?
Epesi tries to guess your virtual host/virtual directory/alias and sets session only for this url. If it's guessed wrong, it behaves like yours.

So, what I need is:
- real epesi path (ex. /home/shacky/public_html/epesi/dir/
- url (ex. http://www.example.com/epesi/dir)
- is there any alias set in http server (example: ee -> epesi/dir, so you can access epesi with url: http://www.example.com/ee)
- or maybe there is domain (virtual host) for epesi? (example http://epesi.example.com)
- what http server are you using? Is it public hosting or your own server? php is as module, or as fast-cgi?

Hi! At the moment I'm only trying to install Epesi on my personal Mac.

So, here are the answers to your questions:

[*:32o31jgs]The real path is /Users/poluz/Sites/epesi[/*:m:32o31jgs]
[*:32o31jgs]The installation directory is accessible from diaspar.local/~poluz/epesi, localhost/~poluz/epesi and 127.0.0.1/~poluz/epesi, as well as inside my lan with my computer ip.[/*:m:32o31jgs]
[*:32o31jgs]php is loaded as a module[/*:m:32o31jgs][/list:u:32o31jgs]
As you can see, this is the standard environment shipped with Mac OS X leopard.

I found a bug with epesi+userdir module... I will fix it tommorow.

Hi,
please checkout newest svn version. Setup should set EPESI_DIR in config file instead of detecting it on such configuration as yours.
