I'm trying to install epesi (rc5) on CentOS 5.2 (in a XenU domain on a x86_64 dual core machine, with hardly any load), but the installer somehow never gets past the processing popup of the modules check (at least not within a few hours).
I can see the installer create the database with 100 tables in MySQL and I see a lot of directories/files appear in the data directory, but that's about it. Is there a way to check where the install process is hanging or working on? Any kind of log or so.
When I "stop" the installation and go to the URL I do get the login prompt, but it will not allow me to log in with the administrator userid/password that I entered during the installation, so to me it appears as if that user didn't get created.
Any ideas/hints how to figure out what's going wrong here? Anything would be more than appreciated.
