Currently it's not easy to incorporate Filters to an addon. At the moment, you'd have to check out body() section (it's not big) of RecordBrowser module to see how to set up those filters in addon.
However, I do plan to make it easier to enable filters in addons, but it's not on priority list at the moment, sorry.
