Hi Grzesiek,
we have got cross platform tray icon that does it - checks if there are any changes, displays alerts and it also checks accounts defined in mail client module for new mail. Because of that, there will be no mail notifications.
Unfortunatly, it's not free module. I can ask my boss about price in polish zloty.
