Can you elaborate more on this subject? I assume that you want to change the order in which fields are displayed under contacts, correct?
To do this login as superadmin, go to Menu->Administration
Open Record Sets, then select "Contacts"
Here you can control the order of fields. Just click on the blue arrow up next to First Name and this will be your first field in the Contacts view layout.
