How to get a German Language Pack? And.....

Hallo to All,

i have a simple Problem because i need an German Language Pack for the Basic Version of epesi. I always thought it would be already fully integrated into German, but that is not so. In my Version of epesi A German version is unsupported but it is possible to translate everything themselves. That is really a lot of work. Please say me where I can find german language pack. Then I have another question, namely: It is possible to install new designs, styles to integrate or upload. Where is there styles or designes for epesi? Is there somewhere a download page, or can I use any xhtml template? I hope you have most gratifying answers for me.

We forgot to include it in release, sorry... Just uploaded it to our svn, so it will be 100% with next release.
Don't know anything about public, free templates... I only know that some people modified original one to match their company logo.

How to put the translated File in the system? I've put it in "Base_Lang" with my FTP Programm but it Does not work 🙁

Hi,
copy it with FTP to data/Base_Lang, then go to Menu->Administrator->Language & translation, click on refresh languages in actionbar, then set default lang to "de". If you allow users to change language with user settings you should check if your user have "de" language in Menu->my settings->control panel->regional settings.

Oh, and you should refresh site with F5 after language change, so changes will occur...

Well yes I know that there is a German language file. You gave me also explains how to insert and activate it. But there is a big problem. I tried with my FTP to transver the Language Pack to folder Base_Lang. This is not because the "Perm" (CHMOD) does not allow. I can not change the CHMOD for the folder. So I have no chance to get a Pack of paste. The change in the Perm is denied me every time. Now what do I do? I'm not a profi with PHP etc. and that is really slow for me a big problem. I now work for days on that stupid language - problem. Slowly it realy sucks :lol: Please please help me here again. I would even call you the account information for the FTP, etc.. Or You tell me how I can force the CHMOD. Hoping for quick and good help.

Hi,
you can upload file with included web file manager:
- go and log in epesi as admin
- append to url /admin so it will look like http://epesi.host/admin
- click on WFB file manager and go to data/Base_Lang...
- upload de.php
It will upload as http server user so it will permit to do it.

Alternatively you can use some cpanel(or other panel) advanced file manager to change rights to directories...

If still doesn't work, send me ftp login data with PM.
