Portuguese Translation

I'm starting to translate to the Portuguese language (again).

Should I wait and translate everything before sharing? Or can I start sharing work in progress (since I'll probably never translate the full thing since I don't use all the modules)?

There is a translation project setup here:

You can just join the team and start translating there. https://launchpad.net/~epesibim

Launchpad uses PO format, but please contact https://launchpad.net/~boamaod for help - he was kind enough to create PO file from our file format.

Well... I've already done most of the work on the PHP file... I'll contact him soon, but if anyone's looking for the work I've done so far, feel free to reply to this thread.

Unfortunately, nobody has submitted any Portuguese translation for EPESI to our team.

If you would like to make such a translation, please let me know and I will give you access to our translation system.

Hello,

We're currently in progress of changing the translations system completely. We hope to deliver much more flexible system for both users and translations contributors. And for this reason, the old approach (Translations tool installation) is not being used, we'll be sure to update respective posts here on the forums soon.

If you wish to contribute with your translations, the best place for that is to start translating EPESI on your local installation, through Administrator->Language & Translations. With the next release we'll provide a tool that, only with explicit user consent, will send all custom translations to our server where we'll create a base for translations for next releases. We have a bigger announcement and explanation coming up soon.
