Type: 8 Error on Login

nickchan

Hi,

I'm using version 1.0.8 and I get this error on login with a particular user (Customer and Employee Administrator), and it would actually log me in:

I have no idea how this happened, there is only really one main user, which is the one from the first error.

I did try to ugrade to the latest version, but I'm also getting errors, which I'll probably make another thread about. Mind you, it's my fault leaving it for so long and trying to upgrade from 1.0.8 to 1.1.4.

Also I'm using Firefox 4 and IE9, both producing the same error. Not sure if it has something to do with the latest browsers? That's the only thing I can think of that is causing the issue. Though I have only been told of this today.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
Nick

Nick,
You are using a very outdated version of epesi. Please update to the latest version first.
To update make a backup of the database first and the entire epesi directory (data directory is critical).
Get the latest version from Sourceforge and unpack it overwriting existing files. The database structure will update automatically.

Hi,
you can try upgrading version by version, for example if you have 1.0.8, upgrade to 1.0.9 etc.
Or comment out:
File: /home/smm/public_html/barworks/update.php
line 1700
function called: install("CRM_Roundcube")

And see what will happen during upgrade 🙂

Just wanted to express my gratitude again.

Paul (shacky) has fixed my issue and update to the latest version after I sent him my database and snapshot of the existing application.

I can only imagine the length Paul and his team help others. Keep up the excellent work 😃
