How To increase EMAIL attachment size?

I couldn't send a email over 2 mbs what would be the fix for this

There are few reasons for such problem, most of them boiling down to php.ini configuration.

A simple script:

<?php phpinfo(); ?>

will display all the important values, including the most important memory_limit and upload_max_filesize. Size of 64M is recommended, 128M even better.

You should also check your error log to see if there are any related messages.

Sorry for refreshing old topic, but I've got similar problem.

I've changed the limit for upload_max_filesize to 32MB, but I still can't add an attachment bigger than 2MB. I have no idea where to look for this setting in the RoundCube. There is no such problem with notes (I've uploaded ~4MB file).

Is anyone found how to increase size limit?
I checked server, no problem there, in modules/CRM/Roundcube/RC/.htaccess i have:
php_value upload_max_filesize 10M
php_value post_max_size 10M

But size limit is still 2M.

Need help!!!

Limits in PHP are specific to your server configuration. It is not controlled by EPESI or Roundcube.

Please follow instructions given before by Ethnar: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=813#p2837

First verify limits returned by phpinfo - you can see this running Admin Tools: http://www.epesi.org/Admin_tools

Changes to limits must be done in php.ini or .htaccess

Remember to restart your HTTP server after changing values in php.ini and check your phpinfo again.

It's not related to my server configuration, because I have Roundcube mail at the same server and it support 50 Mb and it is set in php configuration!
I seen referred topics, it doesn't help at all!

It is clear that Epepsi redefine limits some where!!! And it's not in .htaccess in rc folder, there is some settings overrides limit to 2 Mb!!!

This is really big problem!!!

OK - then please check .htaccess files. I am sure there is another .htaccess in RC directory. Try to play with both.

It's only one .htaccess file in RC directory even without .htaccess file limit is still 2M, there is some place in Epesi where that limit set, but how to find it???

Size limit set in .htaccess between <IfModule mod_php5.c> and </IfModule> may be problem is here?

I installed standalone Roundcube and found that attachment size limit depends om global php settings and changes in .htaccess doesn't change that limit. Tried to find answers in Roundcube discussions, didn't find anything there.
Strange that in Epesi limit is always 2M and doesn't depends on php settings.
