Unfortunately, the feature to automatically enable auto-select for select elements created by RecordBrowser did not make it to version 1.2.2. In that version, only the fields that were specifically coded to switch to auto-select provide such option.
That was some bad news, but there's some good news as well. The feature you're asking for is already implemented in our internal version and it will be available readily with the next release.
I wish I could provide what changes are needed in the code, but for this to work, there were multiple changes throughout the system.
