Email Notifications Not Working

I installed the Epesi CRM software and I have to say great job! I'm still getting to know all the features but im loving it! I still have a few questions though.

I added my email on the alerts settings but im not receiving any alerts by email at all.
What can it be?

And second... I installed the ticket support module, but I dont see anything. What Im I supposed to see?
Do I have to do any extra steps to complete installation?

The reason im asking for the email alerts is because I would like to receive the alerts on my phone, reminders of meetings, etc. If the email alerts would work I could configure my email on my phone and get alerted on the moment wherever I am. Or use a service that fowards emails to text messages. Thanks again.

Hello,

I'm glad you've found your way to Tickets modules. For anyone who might be struggling with it and find this thread: you can access both projects and tickets from Menu->Bug Tracker.

As for the e-mail notifications - they are using EPESI global mail settings. To configure it's parameters, you can go through Menu->Administrator->Mail Server Settings. It's the same settings that are part of the setup during installation.
The default value, to use php.ini, may not work on many servers, it's recommended to switch to smtp and provide credentials to and e-mail account to be used to send system mails.

Does "Test" email work?

Menu -> Admin -> Mail Server Settings -> put proper settings -> click "save" -> click "Test"

Test works, notifications do not, pop-ups work, no emails though

Ok, here is something really weird, i turned on the "watchdog notifications" and they work fine here is an example: "EPESI notification - Tasks - Megna Presentation - Website" and it told me that there was a note added, which there was, however, when an alert pops up,no email notification is received...
