Data synchronization engine or alternative?

hi Everyone,

I just downloaded the Module "Data synchronization engine" and I don't see any documentation or anything on the CRM how I can use this feature? is there anyone that can help me or explain what this module can offer?

I am looking for something in particular where I can sync certain fields from odbc to mySQL so I can sync data with the EPESI crm.

I know it is possible with php but I just wanted to know if it has already been done.

Hi,

Premium Sync is the name of the module for Data Synchronization. Documentation for this module can be found here:

From your description it looks like you want to sync data from your workstation to EPESI. Be aware that in order to maintain the integrity of data you should never try to manipulate on tables in EPESI directly. Each recordset consists of several tables - one to store the most recent data, another for field definitions, another for record history, permissions etc. This is why you need to "talk" to EPESI via this API - Premium Sync (Data Synchronization Engine).
