allowing certian features for admins for record browser

Hi Everyone,

I noticed that I can either let the Administrator View, Full Access or disable the Record Browser.

In my Particular case, I would like the Admin to Modify the Assets fields in the Record Browser but ONLY the Assets fields, not Companies, Contacts, etc.

Hello,

Currently there's no way to selectively allow Administrators to edit fields for specific RecordSets and I'm sorry to say we don't have plans to include such feature.

We do, however, want to change the Assets module to allow much more flexibility with the parameters.

If you are asking for new and rewritten Assets module then we are planning it for awhile - since July of 2010 to be exact. Some work has been done already and we will try to put together something within 3 months period probably.
