Hi Everyone,
I really don't know how the report works...
Lets say I setup 2 salesman, Sale1 and Sale2. They both have sale Opportunities, 1 is 50,000, another is 25,000.
Under employees, both Salesman are involved with both sales so they are both listed.
When I run the report I get a total of 250,000$!!! I know it doubled the Value because both employees are involved on each Oppertunity, but I can't see this report is correct because in real life, at the end I will receive 75,000$ not not 250,000.
How can I change this report so it will show the price pointing to the Opportunity Manager instead of the Employee?
This would be better because for Sales1 will get the value on his opportunity, (50,000) and Sales2 will get his (25,000) instead of both Sales1 and 2 get 50,000 and 25,000 each, then the totals will add to the appropriate value.
I know I can't change this as a user but I am familiar with PHP (unfortunately not OOP yet..) but I will need a little help to change this so my Employer can get the right report values on his table.
If this was done deliberately, then can anybody shed some light as to why this is setup and give me a example how this is done in real life?
Thank you everyone for reading this post,
