Sales Opportunity and PhoneCall

Hello,
We are developing a module that will combine PhoneCall and SalesOpportunity modules. Is there a way to retrieve the SalesOpportunity ID and use it to create a PhoneCall entry?

I don't know what is the purpose of your module, but ability to link a Sales Opportunity with a Phone call module already exists:

Phone Call SO

Opportunity field is not mandatory and is linked to all active Sales Opportunities.
