Yes of course!
Into dashboard you can add note applet (like this "Welcome you've just installed EPESI"), edit html to add some links, make it larger, set as default for every new user.
If you want to have menu / quick access / quick menu entries for your url, then it's little more effort.
You should create your own module. e.g. Custom/CompanyLinks (in modules directory create directory Custom, then CompanyLinks dir inside, then module files here CompanyLinks_0.php CompanyLinkInstall.php CompanyLinksCommon_0.php).
Then in common file create menus with special entry __url__
like we have to show forum link.
Put menu method in *Common file
public static function menu() {
return array(_M('Support')=>array('__submenu__'=>1,'__weight__'=>1000,_M('EPESI Forum')=>array('__url__'=>'http://forum.epesibim.com')));
}
In your case you should change "Support" to something else. __weight__ is used to position menu entries.
Without special keys it should looks similar to this:
array(_M('Submenu') => array( _M('First link') => array('__url__' => 'http://firstlink'), _M('Second Link') => array('__url__' => 'http://second')));
You can also user separator by using key __split__ with weight parameter. Here is code to define "Administator" menu entry
return array('__split__'=>array('__weight__'=>2000),_M('Administrator')=>array('__weight__'=>2001));
admin has weight = 2000, support was weight 1000, so you can choose where to put your menu.
By default if menu entry doesn't has any special key like URL (like this Admin menu), then it drives you to body method in Module_0.php file.
After all you should go to Modules administration, refresh modules database, and install your module. Then you can change menu method and it will be reflected right after EPESI page refresh. No module reinstallation is needed.
Why you should create your own module? Because it will be preserved over EPESI update.
