in fact we have developed such feature, but it's not widely available. After upcoming release we will focus on bringing up to the public more modules.

It would be great if the relationships could be displayed graphically, using the InfoViz Toolkit. Home page here: http://philogb.github.io/jit/index.html

Also, it would be great if there were a text field (and maybe a few other additional fields) in the relationship record to store some meta data about the relationship.
The InfoViz Toolkit could also be used to graph Contacts/Companies/Related Companies connections as well.
