Thank you for reporting this bug. We'll release a new version with a bugfix.
As for max attachment size look into your http://epesidirectory/admin for php.info and see if php.ini does not limit your attachments. We have installations that upload even video files, very large. EPESI does not limit the attachment size.

what I mean is uploading size on the Forum, not on the CRM.
when I try to submit a .jpg the size is big and I have to take the time to decrease the size of a screenshot in order to upload it to the forum.

The max upload size on the forum is 1 MB, which should be more than sufficient to attach a screenshot - PNG file size of a screenshot of the full screen of my MacBook is about 256 kB (or about 300 kB in jpg format):
