Syncing CALDAV Calendars,

Hi everyone,

as time goes by, the more and more people are asking for the CRM to Sync to their CALdav calendar servers.

I would like to know if anybody set this up. instead of using the current module (meetings) I don't have any problem making a custom module just for a calendar to sync to a CALdav server however I do not know which will be best to use or if you have already tried one previously and would like to beta test it.

I do lack Javascript and I am just getting started learning how to create modules so any advise will be appreciated.

We are aware that there is a need to sync calendars and the best method to use it is to support iCalendar standard.
The one we will use is SabreTooth VObject library https://github.com/evert/sabre-vobject

Unfortunately this is not an easy job. Current database schema of our recordset on which the calendar is built differs from the standard. We need to figure out first how to map fields to iCalendar schema.

Once this is done EPESI will be ready to support CALDav syncing.
