Hi,

To show or hide fields you need JS code. So you have to eval_js some code in your QFfield callback. JS code is called after html is updated in EPESI. So it doesn't matter where you'll call eval_js.

To not interfere with your current code it would be best to create JS code that uses jquery to find your customer checkbox element and register onchange event to show or hide whole row with sales_rep field.

Chrome dev tools or firebug will be very useful in this task. In JS console you can try to run your code that you'll put in eval_js.

PS. You can review CRM/Assets module to find out how it's done to show or hide specific fields for different asset type.

Hi Adam,

I have taken a look at both the AssetCommon and change.js.

the change.js looks simple enough (at least I think)
however the CommonData section is very confusing (the display function)

what is the index (or 'category') to use for a checkbox?
it seems very confusing since this is not showing a example for a checkbox field but a single select field.

I have never worked with Javascript so please bare with me.

I do have Firebug however I'm not sure how to use it for JS since I mostly use it for check HTML/CSS issues rather than JS issues.

I found the change(index) function in the DOM however I don't see anything useful of it so maybe I'm in the wrong place 😛
