change date format

HI @ all :-)

how can i change the date format?
easy but necessary stuff :D

i need the day-month-year style. it doesn't matter if dd-mm-yyyy or dd/mm/yyyy or whatever :-)

Go to Menu -> My Settings -> Control Panel:

User Control Panel

and then in Regional Settings change the date format.

Date format is per user, but default settings can be configured by superadmin.

found it in "modules\Base\RegionalSettings", just added/edit

$date_formats_proto = array('%Y-%m-%d','%m/%d/%Y','%d %B %Y','%d %b %Y','%b %d, %Y','%d.%m.%Y');

in both files:
RegionalSettingsCommon_0.php
RegionalSettingsInstall.php

I don't know why, but only in code.

However it's not recommended to edit core code.

I try to change date format: %d/%m/%Y.

if day > 12, EPESI will save as 1/1/1970, if day <= 12, it all ok.
I urgently need fix this bug, please.

I deep research today.
EPESI can't set format date as dd/mm/YYYY. Because EPESI uses strtotime function.

Below note in PHP Manual
