In EPESI we don't create a record from e-mail. Instead follow this process:
- Open second tab - in one keep Roundcube open and in another one Task
- After archiving an e-mail it will be automatically connected with your own contact and the sender (and other contacts if the e-mail was addressed to other recipients)
- Switch to the task and open e-mails add-on and just paste the e-mail to associate it with the task.
We don't have any plans to implement creating a record from e-mail. The problem is that e-mails are by their nature simple text not structured in any way. Some parts of the e-mail can be entered into a recordset usinf Click2Fill feature - to automate or rather simplify data entry, and then attach the a-mail to this record.
