Faster way to orginize your fields

Hi Everyone,

my CRM is at least 100 fields and I would like to add another field near the top of the list.

oh man I have to click that UP arrow key at least 90 times... can we have a better solution?

sorry for the fast topic but I gotta run.

EDIT: this came to mind but can we utilize HTML 5 (or javascript) and have some sort of Drag and Drop mechanism..

It is on our list to do - drag and drop arrangment of fields, but since this is not something that it is being done frequently it has a low priority now.

My question though is: why would you create a recordset with 100 fields? This is insane - especially from the user experience perspective. You should split it and create another recordset (or more like multiple recordsets) and then an addon to display under contacts related recordsets and fields. Think also about the performance hit.

Just finished moving the fields in place.

Yeah it is insane, however if I can control all my users / admins that would be great too 😛

now I might be exaggerating when I said 100 but I know for sure its at least 40 and took me a few hours.

I read on another post that you will be having a bunch more premium packages which is awesome by the way and I'd rather see more toys to play with than this horrific thing, but please don't just ignore it, I would like to add field, place it in the right place which took about 2 minutes (or less) and go for coffee 😛.
