Importing Drop Down

I'm having a difficult time importing variables into a multi select field. So for example I created a Multi Select field with a group of variables in it. ie. Left Message, Not in, call later etc.. The field is named "Status" Now the fields are mapped properly but when I import it is not allocating the proper status as in the spreadsheet into epesi.

Are you importing "status" values or keys?

Can you show an example?

In the common data area I added an Array called status after that I added the "key" 1 and the value. For each new value I jumped the key 2, 3 ,4 etc.. and assigned the value to each key.

Now I added the Status field to the manage fields section as show in the image below. I have also shown image of the status for for the record. It is showing the proper statuses but it is not modifying the status upon import. So basically my spreadsheet has a Title named "status" and each record has a status, ie. left message.

How do you import your data from spreadsheet? Do you know how multiselect fields are stored? Add record in EPESI then look at the database.

That is actually a good point. When records are imported from the spreadsheet the status column simply looks like

Status
Left Message
Not In
Call later

So it has the column heading and each subsequent status associated with each record.

Actually I got it figured out. I needed to replace the actual Value with the Key # upon import. So if I assign a Key of 1 and Value Left Message in epesi I would import anything under status in my spreadsheet as (1) and not Left Message. It worked that way.
