Input record in popup form

Hi,
I click Add New contact from contact list screen, I type Last name, first name, phone,.... But I forgot to enter company information of this contact.
How to add a company without leaving contact screen

If the company exists already just start typing the name in the Company Name field.
If this is a new company then click on the checkbox: Create new company
and type in the company name. This company will be created with values from fields entered in the Contact. In other words you will create a company and contact in a single operation.

Thank for your reply. My english not well.
I used Contact for example only. Similar situation, when I add a Task, I entered Task information(title, status, priority, ...). But I forgot to enter employee or customer information of this task before. EPESI force me leaving task screen and retype task information.
I want to have shortcut or hotkey, to add new related objets

It is a "chicken and egg" situation.

To assign a task to a Company you need to create a company first.
If you forgot to create a company - you have 2 choices:
1. Create a task and do not enter company yet. Then create a new company, edit the task and associate it with this newly created company.
2. While editing the task, and finding that the company or contact you need does not exist - open another tab in the browser. Create this new company and save it. Then switch to the first tab where you were editing the task and you can now select it from a list of choices.

With employee field, this is required. I must cancel, input employee and return to retype information. :oops:

Hi, in such situation:
1. You've opened a "New record"
2. You have to supply some field that is required (e.g. contact), but you don't have this contact in the system.
3. Open a new browser tab (or window), navigate to the contacts and add a contact
4. Switch to the previous tab (or window) and click "Save" - Yes it will cause a form error, because of empty required field, but it will reload EPESI, that now knows about this new contact
5. Use select to choose proper contact. Click "Save" again.

Additionally if EPESI shows you a suggestbox (little yellow box) when you type contact (or company or any other record), then just stop typing, go to the second tab, add record, go back, retype to refresh suggestbox and you'll get this new record in the suggestbox.
