Permissions for Sales Opportunity Module

Hi there

Currently on the EPESI system you can "hide" contacts, companies, meetings and tasks from others by setting a 'private' permission. We would like to be able to do the same with the "Sales Opportunity" module. We do not want users to see each others sales opportunities.

Can this be implemented somehow?

We do not mind paying a fee for this customisation.

Ken,

Follow these steps to add Permission field to Sales Opportunities module:

- Open admin panel - Record Browser
- Select Opportunities recordset

- Add new field: name it Permission, type Select, source Single Value, order by key, CommonData table: CRM/Access, required true:

Save it and you will have Permissions option in Sales Opportunities module:

Now you need to adjust permissions - open the same recordset, switch to permissions - at this moment there are no restrictions:

You need to change it to look similar to permissions in tasks:

View Access: Employee Permission is not equal to Private or Employees is equal to User Contact
Edit Access: Employee Permission is equal to Public or Employees is equal to User Contact or Customers is equal to User Contact
Delete Access: Employee Created by is equal to User Login
