I've had epesi working on a hosted service but i am now configuring it on a local machine. When setting the MySQL database details i get the messsage "Please enable mysql extension in php.ini.". Can anyone enlight me on how to do this?

Actually, he did not answer my question as i had already searched on google for an answer... Turns out (as i had to figure out by myself) and i'm sharing this so that other user don't have to get silly answers as i did, that it was a problem with the PHP version i was using, changed from 5.5 to 5.3 and it sorted my problem. Thanks for the "help".
Don't be mad. I didn't want to offend you. Just I think that your question wasn't apriopriate, because it's too generic. It's like asking itunes what to do if your speakers doesn't work. My intention was to inform you (in the funny way... tryin) that you won't get any better answer, than on google. Sorry
