Module Extract Error + Module Licence

Hi Adam,

I've got a strange problem. I freshly installed the new 1.6.0 version of epesi on my local server, where the version 1.4.2 has been running without any problem. Also the module installation.

Now, when I try to download a module in the admin shop I get a red "Extract error". Is there anything to adjust/change on the server?

And the second question, when I already bought the import module for the former version, which I have deleted and replaced by 1.6.0, can I obtain ist somewhere, or do I have to freshly buy it. (I have got a new Licence-ID, as I freshly installed 1.6.0, as the old 1.4.2 installation was a real mess already.

Hi,
1) It occurs if downloaded zip file is broken - it can occur if transfer failed (not completed download) or if zip on our server is broken - please tell us on what module error occurs.
2) You can provide old licence id instead of registring new one to get already bought modules. If you don't have old licence id Adam can send it to you if you provide him valid registration data via PM...
Adam will be back monday - he is out for a weekend.

1) One more thing - check permission to your modules directory and subdirectories... This error also occurs when php don't have write access to extract destination.

thanks for the info. I checked the permissions of the modules and data directory and their subdirectories (all set to 777).

There is no open-basedir set in php.ini. Should I set it, and when, where to point it to?

And I've found my old licence number. ;-)

If I enter it in epesi, do I automatically get the re-download access to my formerly bought modules?

Or shoud I send it to Adam and he lets me have a donwload link to the modules to install them manually?

Hi Hannes,

for your old installation with key 7JZQwH4... - you've tried to access EPESI store (1st of august) with the old version of EPESI. It's required to use latest version to download modules - it's easier for us to maintain only the most recent version of modules. You should get info about that in the message box in the bottom right corner.

For your new installation with key eKjOyBj... - downloaded packages seems ok. I mean that zip file is well prepared on the server side. Please go to the <epesi_dir>/data/Base_EpesiStore directory. You should find there zip archives with modules. Please review them. Extract error is hard to guess, because ZipArchive library doesn't give detailed error message - just false for the error. I suppose that its some kind of permission issue, because as you've said - system is the same as previous.

as soon as I am at the server again, I will have a look at the <epesi_dir>/data/Base_EpesiStore directory and will let you know abot it.

Hi Adam,

you were right. There's been a fileright-problem on the server and I fixed it.

Concerning the "Data Import"-Module, I bought it again for the new licence because your really outstanding work & efforts deserve the support. :-)
