Dashboard-Companies-Button-Translation resets to default

Hi,

me again. I just experience another funny behavior on the dashboard. (not sure, if this is a bug or just a incorrect handling by me, so I posted it under HowTo-WhatIf)

I adapted the German translations for the different buttons and links on the dashboard. Also I changed the German translation of the "Companies"-Button, which takes you to the companies-Listview, from the original translation "Firmen" to "Kunden" (which means "customers"), as we've got a B2C-Business.

The funny thing is, that this translation (and only this one!) automatically changes back to "Firmen". Not immedately but after some time (lets say, I changed it yesterday then I logged in today and the button was again changed back to "Firmen").

I'm running a daily cron-job for importing new "customers" into EPESI using the data sync module. This works really fine and it is the only thing, which makes regular auto-changes in the system.

Can this somehow have anything to do with the "button-translation"-problem?

No... it shouldn't... All your custom translations are stored in data/Base_Lang/custom/de.php - check if your translation changes here. I'm not sure right now, but look from the end of the file, because new translations are appended to the end of the file.

Hmmm, strange thing. I will have to check it thouroghly. I suppose the problem is the auto-sync process, which feeds the customer-db with new entries.

I will keep you up to date.
