eMail Archive Issue

Hi,
I have a simular issue to this post. http://forum.epesibim.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=597&p=2221&hilit=eMail#p2221

When I click in Archive the mail is moved to the archive folder, and an entry is created against the contact under email.
The issue I have is that when you click to view the email, there is nothing in the thread / flat tabs. It looks like is not writing the message away at all. I can not see issues in the error logs of my hosting server.

Any ideas?

At first enable REPORT_ALL_ERRORS in the data/config.php file.
Then check for any data in database table rc_mails_data_1.
If you've got some emails there, then maybe it's some issue with the display?
If no, then try archive again with error reporting enabled.

Hi,

There are no errors that I can see. There is data in the rc_mails_1. I have archived email today and it is being entered into the table.
When I click on the contact and view emails all are there. If I click on the email to view it it is there it is not displaying.

I have attached a screenshot.

So your issue is not the same as in the thread you've linked. You've got your messages, but I don't get, why you've got Emails tab with threads and flat view, when you enter the message?
Could you post whole window screenshot? Content may be blurred, but it matter where you are 🙂

You've got wrong addon set for this type of records.

You should see something like below. Probably you've got here addon instead of thread_addon.
Am I right?

Hi Guys,
That was the was kind of the problem. Both the rc_mail_threads and rc_mail_addon was active. I disabled the addon and all is working.

Maybe some bug occured during the update process... I don't know. But I'm glad that it works now. If you'd like to permanently remove this addon then you have to remove it in database table recordbrowser_addons.
