Two Thumbs Up! Currently have two versions of Epesi on two different domains and trying them both now.
A nice suggestion would be to have an estimated time left and a checklist. Currently after the long extraction time we are left with a message that states:
"EPESI is currently updating. Please wait or contact your system administrator."
This message does not provide an estimated time nor tell us anything useful at all such as progress or error codes.
If there was a checklist that happened.
1. Blah Blah Blah COMPLETED
2. Blah Blah Blah Blah COMPLETED
3. etc etc etc COMPLETED

UPDATE: Server lost connection while using the upgrade and now everything is pretty well screwed up. I am manually updating hoping that will work. Luckily I have a backup from a couple of days ago. The hosting company says it is not them losing connection as far as network connectivity. I found this on MySQL's website http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/ ... ction.html
To Other People that Have Issues with the new "Update" Feature
If you are stuck doing an upgrade like I was an all you receive is the single message with it doing nothing:
"EPESI is currently updating. Please wait or contact your system administrator."

You have to delete or rename the maintenance_mode.php file in the data folder then refresh the page with the CRM. Then you will have an upgrade button.
