[SOLVED] Import codepage MS WORKS csv

Hi, I use Microsoft Works and have csv exported file but I have trouble with codepage (I cannot see proper symbols in preview mode). Is there any way to fix it?

Your CSV has to be UTF-8 encoded, without BOM.
You could try to use XLS instead.
If you'll get issues still, please use some simple editor and make CSV file with just two lines: headers and one line of data. If it doesn't work then send it to me.

Thank you it really helps! I can import XLS edited with MS Excel without any problem. BUT!
There is another question and I dont know if I need to open new ticket...

I have test pattern of companies and contacs but I dont know how to pair them together. I imported companies at first and done all the mappings etc. but in CRM - Companies I cannot see another than my company. But import was sucessfull without any error I can also see company records in Administration - Table config - company - records. And after that second question is, how can I atomaticly add user to the company. I attached testing pattern of those tables

Please verify permission rules in admin panel and make sure that you can see companies records. Also check access in the record - is it private, read-only or public. Also please make sure that your view shows all companies - not only favorites for instance. Top left corner above the table.

I'm asking because user and contact are different concepts. User can login to EPESI, contact is just a record of a person. But every user have it's own contact of course.

Hi Adam, thank you for your support! I'm superadmin, companies were imported as public and I view all companies (not favourite or any other filter). May I sent you print screen of my settings of tables?

Ok, so I've tried to import your data from attached zip and it works perfectly.
It assigns contacts to proper companies.

First I've imported companies, then contacts. I've selected company as a company name during contact import and it found existing companies and used them.

Maybe you're doing something wrong...
