I'm looking for an option to execute an autosave periodically similar to the autosave in Word. I played with the autosave plugin for CKEditor but it only works when closing the browser. If a person leaves the editor open and the seesion automatically logs out, a save should be executed. Alternatively, the data could be periodically saved to prevent the loss of data.
Has anyone implemented a feature like this?
