Crits Date = NULL

The following used to work to load a widget based on a null or empty date field:



array('!date_sent'=>FALSE,'date_received'=>FALSE)

It doesn't seem to work any more. What is the correct way filter a widget base on a date field being NULL or empty?

You're using 1.6.5 now? In which version it worked? I'll try to figure it out and write a simple instructions to fix this.

But... We've completely rewritten crits mechanism recently. Maybe try dev version from GitHub 😉

We are on version 1.6.2 now. I can't remember which version it worked on. Some how I missed that it wasn't working. :shock:

We have built modules that allow us to generate contracts directly from the crm and need a report or widget that can compare when a contract has been sent, sent date populated, but not received, received date is null or not populated.

I will look at the the dev version.

Not sure it this is right but seems to work.



array('~date_sent'=>"",'~!date_received'=>"",)

array('~field' => 'value', '~!field2' => 'value2')

tilde is LIKE operator so above rules will translate into:

field LIKE "value" AND NOT(field2 LIKE "value2")

Probably empty string does the job for mysql as it'll find only empty values.
