How to update companies data using Data Import tool?

I have purchased the Data Import tool and imported companies and contacts data from csv file using this tool.

Now I want to update a couple of columns with the data which were missing at the time of first import and now available with companies table.

I tried importing 1 company just to check whether the update works if the company already exists, but it inserted a new row.

How can I achieve this as I have to update data for around 2000 companies?

I have reviewed module's code and it seems impossible right now, but maybe it'll be easy to do.
For EPESI it would be the best to match record's by ID. Is it possible that you'll export ids from EPESI and merge them into your datasheet?
If it seems hard, then is there any set of columns that will distinguish certain record. For instance unique company name will be enough, but we have to be sure that it's unique.

In my CSV datasheet, company name is unique. So we can treat it as a identification key.

I've asked my co-worker to do this - I have to ask how is it going. I suppose it's not done yet, because he has some other duties right now. I'll ask him to make this tomorrow.

Yes - you should see the update in the store. 1.6.1 version.
During mapping selection you can select column that will match the records. Just one for now, but for your needs it should be sufficient.
