Hello

I am not able to upload anything using the data import module. It just runs and runs and runs. I have tried Excel 2003 , msdos CSV plain CSV. I have used Excel and WPS spreadsheets to create the CSV file, and even created a mock CSV file using my editor. Nothing loads. I begin to wonder if the system has or needs ftp access to get the file up to the site. If so, I was not given the opportunity to set up an FTP account.

I don't understand. I have installed the system twice and purchased the Data Import module twice. ( thought it was supposed to be free according to the instructions ) In any case. If any one has had this problem and solved it or knows what I need to do to solve it I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

First of all I apologize, but we're during migration of our site and maybe there is still info that data import module is free. However we've developed this module from the scratch to add a lot of options so we've decided to charge some fee.

After registration you should write down your license key and if you wish to reinstall your EPESI, you can reuse your existing key and you'll be able to download your previously bought modules. But you can't use one key on simultanously running installations.

We haven't such issue and I suppose that you've got some server error that's not reported correctly to the browser.
Please enable REPORT_ALL_ERRORS (uncomment, change to '1') in data/config.php and open browser's console (F12) open EPESI, try to upload simple csv file and see if you'll get any error.

Regards,
Adam

Thanks for the replay ABJ

I did as you asked changed the config file and then created a simple 1 column 5 row CSV file with WPS Spreadsheets. There was no change in what happened and I did not get any error report. It simply show "uploading" on the screen. Has been there for 10 minutes.

Next?

Thanks
