I didn't find any detailed docs about that two modules, need help to understand what exactly I need and how it works.
My task is quite simple, just to have mailing lists and send mail based on that lists time to time.
In the demo I see Menu -> List Manager and it looks like it has all I need, mailing lists and I can make new mail and send it there, I see stats all is fine. Buy the way, I didn't find any settings for List Manager mails delivery, it should be at least settings for mailserver and cron job (to setup who sends mails and how to limit numbers of messages in hour or something like that).
In the Campaign Manager I see same list of mails and then I comes to again to List Manager.
Does it means that I need both modules modules if I want to send mails? If yes, than it's bit unclear what List Manager standalone can do?
Few more questions
Can I add or exclude some contacts from selected mail, kind of mail list correction for particular delivery?
How system see that message was viewed?
