Error Patching to 1.7.1

Hi,

We have recently upgraded EPESI to 1.7.1.

In Administrator's Tools -> Patches there is still one available patch listed
Utils/Attachmentfilestorage2 new patch

When I try to apply this patch, the following error message is generated:

Patch output buffering interrupted. Maybe die or exit function was used. File: modules/Utils/Attachment/patches/20150630_filestorage2.php Output buffer:
Fatal error: Class 'Utils_FileStorage_WriteError' not found in D:\crm.hcp0.local\modules\Utils\FileStorage\FileStorageCommon_0.php on line 47

FileStorageCommon_0.php is newest version already, I have compared the file on the server running EPESI to the file in the 1.7.1 installation ZIP. Should we try to apply this patch with an older version of FileStorageCommon_0.php?

Hi,
no it's our fault, because there is a missing class. But you've got some issue with patch itself.
You can safely update your installation to the master archive, and run patches again.
But I'm pretty sure that you'll get this missing exception. If so, then please check if you have utils_filestorage_files table in the updated database and for any content there.

Indeed an exception is thrown on trying to patch the newest master installation.
The table utils_filestorage_files does exist but is empty.

Somehow it cannot add a row into that table. It's the first time, when I met such issue. Do you have enough disk space for database?
Please check is there any files in data/Utils_FileStorage dir.
Also please enable REPORT_ALL_ERRORS in config.php.

Hi,

I've turned on error reporting, there were no additional error messages generated. There is definitly enough disc space available for the database.

After clearing the contents of the data/Utils_FileStorage directory the patch worked flawlessly.
EPESI has recreated the exact same content in this folder when I patched Utils/Attachmentfilestorage2, so everything seems to be fine.

So it looks like it has been some issue related to missing class that came out once, and then something has been malformed. Other installations update properly even without this missing class.
