I'd just like to say hello, my name is Brian and I've just started evaluating EPESI. So far I'm loving what I see.
I do have some difficulties setting up an email account though. I have set up a user account with my server information and no matter what I do I get the following error when I click on the email option from the menu.
I get the roundcube logo in the top left corner and the following message.
DATABASE ERROR: CONNECTION FAILED!
Unable to connect to the database!
Please contact your server-administrator.
I have set the account up with all kinds of variations and still getting nowhere. I use my own VPS and have set the mail server up as follows.
mail.a--------ebs.com:993 and also tried without the prefix mail.
I also tried without :993 but I'm sure that's what I need as I'm using SSL
For the SMTP settings I have done the same but used mail.a--------ebs.com:465
After reading multiple posts in the forum and even Googleing for help I'm at a loss and pulling my hair out.
IS there anything that I might have missed?
