Update to 1.8.0

Hi - Struggling with this. I go through the process in Administrator and get to the part of click on update.php. I then get a notification Error 500 that the website cannot do this instruction. I have tried a number of times and also manually - but no luck. I have successfully reverted to 1.7. Any advice?

Check your server php and apache error logs and post the relevant output here.

Please describe the method you've used to update EPESI. Did you use our release package? It's required that you have composer packages installed.

Hi - The first method tried - which was successful last time I update - was through administrator ->admin tools. The package was download. So I did use your relase package. Following the failure of this - i tried the manual method ->download the package and apply the update as per instructions. Go stuck at the same place as described above.

Server tells us that it can't find proper index file. Does the index.php exist? Does it have proper permission (readable by server)?

Hi Index.php exists with permissions 644. When i tried again error msg is:

Works fine if i restore files from backup

We don't use dir js in EPESI root. You should inspect your browser, what's trying to get such file.
