I need to update my server to either MySQL 5.7 or Maria DB 10.3. Does Epesi 1.8.2 work under both?

I'll answer my own question. It might help someone else.
I couldn't wait any longer for an answer, so I upgraded my server to Maria DB 10.3 last night. I happy to say that Epesi works fine.
