At this moment Epesi 1.8.2 runs on PHP up to 7.0 but I am running it also on 7.1 and 7.2. However there are compatibility problems reported by users and I also experienced some forcing me in some cases to downgrade to 7.0
In some environments like cpanel you can run 7.0 and 7.1 and 7.2 at the same time. The only problem is when a hosting provider decides to stop supporting 7.0. To address this issue we are preparing a long overdue release 1.9.0 which should be available 09/2019 to the public.
Version 1.9.0 will be compatible with PHP version 7.2 at least and possibly even 7.3

Jasiek hi there
My isp has upgraded the php to 7.2. I am no longer able to run or access epesi.

If you can release an update that supports php 7.2, it will be much appreciated!
...will I be able to run the upgrade script?

Many Thanks
Best regards

    Hi ashwiz ,
I am sorry for not replying for quite some time.

I have a version of Epesi 1.9.0 RC on Github that seems quite stable and it was tested on PHP 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3
If you want to give it a try then just clone it and test:

    https://github.com/jtylek/epesi

    The "master" branch should work.

I will post on the forum when new version is ready.

I apologize for the delay, unfortunately there is quite a lot of spaghetti code left by "programmers" who apparently knew shit about coding standards or common sense for example. I am still discovering how the code is fucked up by... well we know who worked on the code and was paid for that.

Integrity is doing the right thing even when no one is watching.

The good news is that it can get only better from now on. I am cleaning the code to come up with a stable release. In the meantime there is already work being done on Epesi 2.0 which will be based on an excellent https://www.agiletoolkit.org/

    Stay tuned....

As for 1.9.0 release addressing PHP compatibility problem - I can not promise the date as I don't want to give you an unstable version, but I will try by mid February 2020, meaning within 2 weeks.

    Jasiek hi there

    Thank you!!
    Much appreciated

      Jasiek hi there
Is there any update on Epesi?
(that supports newer versions of PHP?)

      Thank you

        Yes, there is ?

Georgi Hristov just made a PR with phpadodb updated and compatible with the latest PHP version.
It was done just today and I did not have the time to test it yet, but you can give it a try.
Just remember to run composer after you clone the repo.
Let me know if it worked for you.
If the master branch does not work then try this one: https://github.com/jtylek/EpesiCRM/tree/refactor/update_adodb
